Absract. Assessment is widely recognized as a valuable tool for promoting the development and growth of the profession.. Assessment of teachers' work is not only a factor in the professional development of teachers in kindergarten, but also plays an essential role in improving the educational environment and providing a better quality education. The article examines the normative possibilities for realizing an objective and developing assessment of teachers, according to the Bulgarian legislation, as well as the possibilities for carrying out a reliable and competent assessment of the educational environment through the tools of inspection.
