Absract. The article examines a not completely solved didactic problem, which is worked upon by various authors - psychologists and methodologists. This is an another attempt to find a solution to part of the problem of forming skills in students to perform contextual recoding. This activity is performed when solving problems and proving statements, but is not formed automatically.
