Absract. The article aims to present a combination of methods and techniques in effective teaching practices for the teaching of the humanities and topics about the European Union in a digital environment, which will continue to support the process of knowledge acquisition by students in the future. Some innovative training tools are presented such as: video sharing, simulations, “mind maps” and the discussions in "small" virtual rooms or through platforms such as “slido.com”. The article is based on the author's research among the student audience. The methods of analysis and synthesis of primary and secondary sources of information, generalization, induction and deduction and the method of frequency distribution were used.
