Absract. The article argues for the choice of a project-based approach as the primary method to enhance interest in the subjects Man and Nature, Physics and Astronomy, Information Technologies by placing them at the center of the learning process. The article presents a good practice used in the education of students at the middle education stage, where they become the main actors. STEAM project-based learning emerges as a valuable tool for achieving positive outcomes in addressing contemporary societal needs and developing scientific literacy in students. The
project discussed in this article focuses on topics outlined in the curriculum for
Physics and Astronomy in 7th grade, Man and Nature in 6th grade, Technologies and Entrepreneurship in 7th grade, and Information Technology in 6th grade. It
involves stages such as idea generation, planning, execution, and results discussion.
This article has a methodological and practical-applied nature and can be adapted
to specific situations, serving as a foundation for other educators in developing
STEAM projects, based on various problem-solving approaches.
